The Minister of Defense of BiH Marina Pendeš yesterday attended the solemn ceremony of awarding diplomas to the cadets of the Royal Air Force College Cranwell in great Britani. The diplomas for successful completion of schooling were presented to two cadets from the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina as well.
With the presentation of diplomas of the Royal Air Force College Cranwell, Anes Halilović and Arnel Salibašić were promoted to the officers of the Armed Forces of BiH. Arnel Salibašić was declared the most successful international cadet at the Royal Air Force College.
After the parade and official ceremony, the delegation of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of BiH, consisted of Minister Pendeš, secretary of the Ministry of Defense Muhamed Smajić and the Deputy Mayor of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of BiH for Operations the Major General Mirko Tepšić, had an opportunity to talk to the BiH cadets, now already officers, Halilović and Salibašić, as well as with the Commandant of RAFC Christopher Luck and the Aviation Marshal Christopher Harper.
During the meeting, which was also attended by the Military Attaché of Great Britain in BiH Colonel Paul Marshall, opinions were exchanged about the further cooperation in the field of education at the military academies in the United Kingdom. The hosts praised the members of BiH Armed Forces and expressed expectation for further cooperation and education of new cadets at the academies in the United Kingdom.
The Minister Pendeš thanked for the support and highlighted the importance of cooperation with the United Kingdom and the Royal Air Force College Cranwell, which is of great significance for the education of the staff of the Armed Forces of BiH and for meeting the NATO standards in the field of education.
