SDA: Cheap Deceptions will not pass, no Matter what Our Party does in the Fight for Power

The Democratic Action Party (SDA) reacted after Naša stranka accused this party of building an ethnically divided state together with the HDZ.

The accusation from Our Party came after the statement of Dragan Čović, president of the HDZ, that they are working with the SDA to relax relations between Bosniaks and Croats.

“Does the relaxation of relations ultimately mean the quiet resuscitation of political projects like Herceg-Bosna, in an institutional sense. In this context, HDZ and SDA relations are often relaxed precisely through processes that lead to territorial and institutional segmentation,” said Our Party.
The SDA responded that our party is regularly at the service of the HDZ and that their statement that the SDA and the HDZ are building a divided state through relaxation “will go down in the annals of political hypocrisy.”
“Trying to wash away the disastrous results of the three-and-a-half-year rule that led the country to the biggest post-Dayton crisis, and to repair as much as possible the devastated reputation ahead of the elections, this party and its president Sabina Ćudić persistently insult the citizens’ intelligence by pretending to be the opposition. Just as they deceived the citizens with the false resignation of the cantonal prime minister Uka, trying to escape from responsibility in the Sarajevo Canton, now they are trying to convince the public that they are not the government at the federal or state level,” said the SDA.
They then state that for three and a half years, Our Party, together with other Troika parties, “relaxed relations with the HDZ”.

“This resulted in HDZ taking over almost complete control over the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, while control over the state was enabled by SNSD and HDZ,” the SDA said.
From this party, they listed several political moves that the Troikas have made.
“After agreeing to the suspension of the Constitution, the cancellation of the political will of the Bosniaks, the handing over of dozens of important positions in FBiH and the state – the entire road construction sector, the Environmental Fund, the election of HDZ’s candidate to the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to the Board of Directors of FTV, after the vote in the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina for people from the black list, Forta’s keeping the position of director of BHANSA for Čović’s son-in-law, the gift of the position of mayor of Mostar to HDZ with the vote of Boška Ćavar and a series of other concessions in which she directly participated, Our Party, which has always been at the service of HDZ, is now trying to deliver the invoices to others,” they said.
At the end, they referred to Sabina Ćudić’s recent statement about the “struggle for power” during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“Such cheap deceptions will not pass, no matter what our party does in the fight for power and the chair of their president Ćudić”, they concluded in the SDA statement.
