Around 13,5 Million BAM Will Be Provided For Paperless Customs Systems

picture_labtopThe B&H Council of Ministers, at the proposal of the Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA), reached a decision to approve the project ‘Implementation of NCTS-New Computerised Transit System in B&H’, which will be included in the mult-layer capital investment program for the period from 2013 to 2016 in the amount of 13.390.000,00 BAM.

This project will be financed by the budget and IPA funds, of which the institutions of B&H will provide around 10 million BAM, and around 3,4 million BAM from IPA funds.

NCTS is a computerized transit system based on the exchange of elcetronic messages where paper transit customs documents are replaced by electronic messages and paperless business.

It is designed to better enable the management and control of transit procedure of EU/EFTA and is used in the 27 EU member states and four EFTA countries.
