The biggest Investment in Novi Grad Municipality This Year

The new hotel of Ibis Styles brand will soon be opened at the site of the former Sarajevo hotel in Novi Grad, which will enrich the hotel and tourist offer in the capital of BiH. Hotel Ibis Styles Sarajevo is part of one of the world’s largest AccorHotels group. Namely, it will open its doors to Sarajevo’s first visitors and in mid-November this year. Buying and of the hotel, as well its upgrade, which is 30 million BAM worth is the biggest investment in Novi Grad municipality this year.

First Ryanair Plane landed at Banja Luka International Airport

A Ryanair plane landed at Banja Luka International Airport on Tuesday, marking the first flight between the city of Banja Luka in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and Stockholm in Sweden. At the solemn ceremony held at the airport located some 235 kilometers northwest of the capital Sarajevo, President of Republika Srpska, one of the entities in BiH, Zeljka Cvijanovic pointed out that the development of Banja Luka International Airport “brought enormous opportunities for improving and strengthening the local economy, tourism and passenger traffic”.

Parts for robots are produced in Derventa

Since 2008, the German “Tehpro CNC” near Derventa city produces parts for robots that carry out final works in auto industry. They started from a mini-factory with four workers, and today, the company has 160 employees. The German company “Tehpro CNC”, is active for more than ten years in Derventa.

Alternativa Company exports to Hong Kong

Alternativa company based in Sarajevo agreed on the delivery of thermosensitive polyurethane panels in an amount of 25,000 m2 and the first quantities were shipped on October 25thto Hong Kong.

“Although we have exceeded all our export expectations this year, next year we expect the next drastic increase in exports. We primarily target countries of Western Europe. It is pleased that renowned world customers have fully recognized the quality of our panels, which gives us the right to expect even better results,” was stated from the company.

Area of Vares is extremely rich in Gold and Silver!

Adriatic Metals company made a conclusion that the area of Vares is extremely rich in gold and silver, and the exploitation could significantly improve the economic situation in BiH.

Namely, works on the excavation of precious metals in the Vares area were approved earlier in 2018, and soon there will be an expansion of existing concessions in the wider region of Central Bosnia.

The location of Rupice, where gold and silver is found, has definitely a “bright future” and the Adriatic Metals company has strong support in terms of its long-term ambitions in relation to exploration and mining developments in BiH.

In the previously mentioned location, until this moment,  9.5 percent of zinc, 4.9 lead, 2.4 g / t gold, 187 g / t of silver, 0.5 percent copper and 56 percent barit at 200 meters below the ground were found.
