Around 2.000 High School Graduates Danced for Guinness Record and for Victims of Floods

''MATURANTSKA PARADA'', 800 MATURANATA U AKCIJI PRIKUPLJANJA POMOÆI ZA POPLAVLJENA PODRUÈJA U BiHAround 2.000 high school graduates today at the parking lot near National Theater in Sarajevo danced to break the Guinness record in the prom dance along with the music of Fledermaus Quadrille, but also to collect support for all B&H citizens affected by floods.

“We have decided to focus on the collection of funds due to the unfortunate events. Sponsors have given us a large cash contribution, and we have collected many things that we will donate. The Guinness record is not a primary goals to us, but the focus is on people who lost their homes”, said a spokesperson of this dance parade Rialda Jarkoč-Memišević.

High school graduates from Serbia danced today for the same purpose. Also, graduates from Slovenia, who are the organizers of the prom parade. Slovenians during this event introduced a humanitarian phone number to assist B&H.

Peers from Olovo and Zenica joined the graduates from Sarajevo. After the B&H anthems, graduates held a minute of silence and then they started their dance.

They traditionally walked in the city dressed in blue-yellow shirts before the start of the parade.
