zeljezno_poljeAround 600 people from Željezno Polje, Žepče municipality have moved out of their homes and on foot are trying to get to some safe and dry territory. Among them are 9 babies, less than one year old, 47 children up to 7 years old, three pregnant women and many ill, old people.

This was confirmed by Effendi Zuhdija Ridžal for Agency Fena, who appealed for help because their village is flooded from the three sides and the locals are moving out on foots toward mountains, the only side where the water can not come from.

According to him, the helicopter of B&H Armed Forces is being expected, which is suppose to help them and to relocate the most vulnerable people, meaning children and elderly.

“There is panic among people and now we are waiting for help”, emphasized Ridžal.
