Hadžić Calls on Institutions of Civil Aviation to Get Involved and To Assist Areas at Risk

damir-hadzic-pixsellB&H State Committee of Safety of Civil Aviation at today’s session led by Minister of Communications and Transport of B&H Damir Hadžić, has urged all institutions of civil aviation in B&H to get fully involved in helping areas at risk and to contribute to rehabilitation of the situation created in accordance with their capabilities.

“I call on airports and institutions in B&H to facilitate the acceptance of airplanes that come from abroad to assist the situation and to provide maximum contribution within their competencies that the flights toward areas at risk to take place without problems”, said Hadžić.

According to the planned agenda of today’s session, final preparations for the tactical demonstration exercises “Simulation of Aircraft Seizure at the Sarajevo International Airport” were to be considered.

The Committee has decided that the above mentioned activities to be postponed due to the current situation in B&H, announced B&H Council of Ministers.
