The Foundation Asmir Begovic in partnership with SANA is helping and promoting strengthening of friendship between the UK and BiH. This time, they are constructing sports complexes, and a total of 30,000 BAM was allocated for two terrains in Srebrenica. The Sun wrote about great deed of BH goalkeeper, and they stated that it is very inspirational.
“It was very difficult for me and my family to change our entire life. The war took us apart, some of us went to Germany, another to Norway or the Netherlands. Now, when I am a father of two children, I can understand how it must be like to my parents,” said Begovic.
“Every city has its own story. You have to constantly learn about what happened in that city. Srebrenica represented a big project for us, maybe even the biggest so far, but we are happy to help. I will make my first camp in BiH this summer as well. I am hoping to encourage future generations to come and try to become goalkeepers,” concluded Begovic
