Assembly BPK Goražde Abolished ‘White Bread’ and Reduced Salaries of Officials by Ten Percent

vlada bpk -zgradaThe Assembly of the Bosnian Podrinja Canton Goražde adopted a set of decisions as a response to the demands of the citizens. Individuals and representatives of the Coordination of Veterans’ Associations, Plenum of citizens and the Union of retirees who put forth the demands addressed the Assembly. As a response to a large part of the citizens’ demands, the Assembly adopted several decisions after the discussion, proposed by the BKP Goražde government.

With the amendments of the Club of the Party for B&H that is related to the elimination of the cost of official mobile phones and reducing the salaries, the Assembly adopted a decision on removing the right to a salary to elected officials upon the end of the mandate, abolition of commission payments to commissions and working bodies for elected officials and state officials who are employed full-time, and lowering the salaries of elected officials by ten percent.

A decision was also brought where the Cantonal Agency for Privatization was requested to send to the government and Assembly a detailed overview of all privatization agreements from 1 January 1996 to 31 December 2012.
