Assembly Session of Sarajevo Canton on Requests of Citizens Plenum Tomorrow

plenum_SaA session of the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton, where the requests of Sarajevo citizens Plenum will be discussed, will be held tomorrow at 10:30.

The session will be divided in two parts. The first part contains regular activities and preparations for the Assembly session of Sarajevo Canton of 24 February and materials that should go under the  proceedure. During the second part of the session requests of the Plenum of citizens of Sarajevo will be considered, as well as dates for discussions with them.

Plenum of citizens of Sarajevo submitted yesterday four requests to the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton, and one of them is the immediate formation of an expert non-partisan government of Sarajevo Canton.

A review of salaries and benefits for public officials in Canton Sarajevo in accordance with the economic situation is one of the requests, as well as the request for the revision of privatization of all enterprises in Sarajevo Canton.

Also, one of the requirements is to establish an independent commission of experts on the determination of facts during the events of 7 February, whose mandate will include the assessment of damages, determination of responsibilities of police officers for excessive use of force and abuse over people have have been arrested.
