Association “Autism in B&H” opened new offices in Sarajevo

autisminBiHMembers of the Association ” Autism in B&H ” welcomed April 2nd – World Autism Awareness Day, in the cheerful mood as the new offices were opened today in Sarajevo, at Čekaluša 43 Street, which will greatly facilitate their work in the future.

Municipality Centar gave the offices to the association at a symbolic price, and the opening was attended on behalf of the Mayor Dževad Bećirević by his advisers Mustafa Resic and Edin Muslić.

“Municipality Centar led by the mayor Dževad Bećirević were of a great assistance to us. They had understanding for our needs, and therefore we are thankful for their tremendous support. Without their help, we wouldn’t be here today. So far we have worked in the apartment of one of our therapists. The opening of these offices is the new hope for families and children from the autistic spectrum “, – said President of the Association, Aida Šahmanović.

At the opening of the new offices Resic highlighted that Municipality Centar will continue with its support to this association.

“This year we will allocate some funding to support the work of the Association of Autism in B&H”, – he said, as announced from the Municipality Centar Sarajevo.
