The Association for the Rescue and Protection of Animals “Šapa Zenica” submitted reports to the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office and the Cantonal Veterinary Inspection, with a request for an urgent investigation into the dogs killed in the Zenica shelter.

The disturbing photos were posted on Facebook. The Associated stated that the photos showed dead dogs in the quarantine room of the Zenica Shelter for Abandoned Animals in Stranjani, managed by Public Communal Association Alba Zenica, which indicates mass killings of dogs in the shelter, stating that they are carried out continuously, Vijesti.ba news portal reports.

In January 2017, “Šapa Zenica” raised its voice against violations of laws and bylaws in the Shelter for Abandoned Animals in Stranjani, pointing to the disappearance of dogs in the shelter.
