At the “Drina Regatta” more than 1.000 participants

drinska-regata-The Organizing Committee of “Drina Regatta– Bratunac2013” is finalizing the preparations for theseventhBratunac Regattawhich is sponsoredand organized bythe Municipality ofBratunac andtraditionally will be heldthe first Saturdayof August (3rd August), of this year.

Member ofthe Organizing Committee, OljaČučićsaidthat the aimof the event is to promote tourism in Bratunac areaand the beauty ofthe Drina, to cooperate with other cities of the Drina River, as well aswith neighboringmunicipalities.

According to her,last yearat theeventwere about800participants, whilethis yearis expectedbetween1000and1500and about150 vessels.

The new thingisthat this year willactivelyparticipatethenewly formedTourist Organization of Municipality ofBratunacandEcoraftingclub“Rajska Plaža” (The Paradise Beach).

Startof the Regatta, asin previous yearswill be inOrašnjak atFaković, after 26kilometersof navigation inKrasanpolje, will be provided to allparticipantsa pauseforlunchorganizedinBjelovac, as well as dinneranda sportentertainment program at the “Rajska Plaža” (Paradise Beach).
