Athletic Meeting: Amel Tuka to perform for the first time

13410738_1781634095406600_366170210_oThe First Athletic Meeting Novi Grad Sarajevo will be held at the newly built athletic track in the Center “Safet Zajko” within the 20th traditional manifestation “Days of Novi Grad 2016”.

Arrival announced our best athletes Amel Tuka, who will participate in the race at 400 meters, Lucija Kimani in races on 3000 and 800 meters and Hamza Alic, who will compete in the shot put.

Besides our Olympians, large number of competitors from our country and the region announced their arrival, as well as a large number of schoolchildren from Canton Sarajevo.

Meeting is aimed to present and popularize athletics in the area of the Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo and Sarajevo, and attract a larger number of boys and girls into athletics.

Meeting is approved by the Athletic Federation of BiH (AFBiH) and it will be held under the supervision of the Athletic Federation of BiH. Rules and regulations will be in accordance with the propositions of AFBiH. Timing will be electronic.

Athletic meeting will give the opportunity to a large number of visitors of Center “Safet Zajko” to enjoy in this interesting sports event.

All fans of athletics are invited to come on the 11th of June at the Center “Safet Zajko” starting at 4 pm and support the First Athletics Meeting Novi Grad Sarajevo.
