airlineA young Turkish airline company AtlasGlobal will add a new destination in its network of flights from the International Airport Sarajevo, and it is a Sarajevo-Istanbul route. Services will be much cheaper than usual, as confirmed by the representative office of the company in Sarajevo.

Director of travel agency Centrotours Sarajevo and representative of the AtlasGlobal company in BiH Muamer Lutvic said that a large increase in the number of foreign tourists requires a better network of flights from the International Airport Sarajevo.

“Sarajevo has become a real tourist city and you can see people from all over the world on the streets. This happened thanks to airlines that started to establish flights, not just the national ones such as Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, but also smaller private airline companies that have recognized their interest. This should be welcomed,” said Lutvic.

He also noted that AtlasGlobal is part of a large Turkish group that owns a chain of hotels in Turkey and Cyprus, as well as one of the largest travel agencies in Turkey.

“When you have a good connection with the world then the flow of goods, ideas, and people is functioning much better as well. AtlasGlobal is a young Turkish airline that has about thirty aircraft in their possession. They have one of the youngest fleets in Europe. The fleet consists of the Airbus 319, 320, 321. They started flying to Belgrade this year, and together with Belgrade, they opened a line for Sarajevo as well,” concluded Lutvic.
