New Austrian Foreign Minister Michael Linhart has chosen Sarajevo for his first official visit. As confirmed to the Radiosarajevo.ba portal, the new Minister of Diplomacy of the friendly country will arrive on Thursday, October 14, in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he will hold a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH Bisera Turkovic.

Also, the high official will have a series of meetings on Friday, October 15, including a meeting with the High Representative for BiH Christian Schmidt.

Linhart said earlier that he was “going to Sarajevo, to the region of the Western Balkans, where our neighbors, friends and I hope, in the foreseeable future, are allies in the European Union.”

Linhart, after Bosnia and Herzegovina, is going to Luxembourg on Monday for the regular EU Council of Foreign Ministers.
