Autopsy of Boy Vukasin Samardzija completed

Ten-year-old Vukasin Samardzija from Nevesinje died of an accidental death that occurred as a result of freezing, it was confirmed by the Trebinje District Prosecutor’s Office.

This was most likely preceded by an epileptic seizure, the findings of an autopsy that was performed this morning in Trebinje, Serbian Info reports.

The boy who disappeared with his dog on Thursday afternoon, was found yesterday at around 11 am in the village of Ljubovica Bara, a few kilometers from the boy’s house.

The body was found in the woods in a shallow creek, and the boy’s dog returned home on Friday afternoon.

Yesterday, in addition to the family and locals, more than 300 people, members of the civil protection, rescue services, police, associations, mountaineers, and citizens of Nevesinje were involved in the search. The Helicopter Service of the Republika Srpska also took part in the action.
