Awards to Most Successful in Financial Market

financeThe consulting firm for research-development services and business consulting Revicon d.o.o. Sarajevo and the regional business magazine “Prizma”, as part of the traditional, annual project of ranking companies from the financial sector in BiH, announced the most successful in the banking sector, insurance companies and microcredit organizations for 2012 at an official ceremony held in Sarajevo. The ‘Crystal Prism’ award was handed out.

The awards, selected by the business magazine ‘Prizma’, were given out in six categories. Based on the results of operations in 2012, the ‘Crystal Prism’ for the most successful bank in BiH was given to UniCredit Bank d.d. Mostar, the most successful insurance company in BiH was Sarajevo Insurance d.d. and the most successful microcredit organization in BiH was MKD Mikrofin d.o.o Banja Luka.

The awards were given by the Executive Secretary of the Association of Banks of BiH Mijo Mišić, the Minister of Communication and Transport Damir Hadžić and the Deputy Minister of Finance and Treasury of BiH Edita Đapo.

The most successful manager of a bank in BiH was Berislav Kutle (UniCredit Bank d.d. Mostar), the most successful manager of an insurance company in BiH was Midhat Terzić (Sarajevo-osiguranje d.d.), while the most successful manager in the microcredit sector in BiH was Braco Erceg ( MKD Mikrofin d.o.o. Banja Luka).

The awards for the most successful managers were handed out by the Prime Minister of the FBiH Nermin Nikišić, Manager of the project “Ranking of banks, insurance companies and microcredit organizations” Jelena Misita and the Director of ‘Revicon’ d.o.o Marin Ivanišević.

In this year’s rankings in the competition for banks, 28 companies participated, of which 18 are from the FBiH and 10 from the RS.

Statistics from the relevant agencies were used for the ranking of banks from the FBIH Agency for Banking and the RS Agency for Banking.

When it comes to ranking from insurance companies, 24 participants were included. Of this, 13 are from the FBIH, 10 from the RS and 1 from the Brčko District.

The award ceremony was preceded by a roundtable on the topic “Position of the real sector in the financial system in BiH”, where representatives of the financial sector and the academic community participated.

“Crystal Prism” this year gathered a number of representatives of the academic community, entrepreneurs, economic theorists, as well as all those who are actively participating in the current business environment in BiH, announced ‘Revicon’.
