Vice-Chairman of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bakir Izetbegovic will officially be a candidate of the Party of Democratic Action for a member of the Presidency of BiH from among the Bosniak people.
Yesterday, the SDA presidency determined the final lists of candidates for all levels of government in the upcoming elections.
Given that Izetbegovic was the only candidate for the Presidency of BiH proposed by the municipal and cantonal party levels from all over BiH, the decision was very simple.
Opponents to Izetbegovic will be SDP’s Denis Becirovic, backed by at least ten parties from the Federation of BiH, and Mirsad Hadzikadic.
