The organizer of the Congress is the Association of Nuclear Medicine of the FBiH and it is realized under the auspices of ESMIT and EANM.

At the opening ceremony, the President of Congress, Prof. Dr. Amela Begic addressed the attendees, as well as Prof. Dr. Marika Bajc from the University of Lund from Sweden on behalf of ESMIT and EANM, while Snjezana Bodnaruk addressed the audience on behalf of representatives of the Ministry of Healthcare of the FBiH.

Professor Begic officially opened the Congress and welcomed the attendees on behalf of the Director General of the University Clinical Center of Sarajevo, Prof. Dr. Sebija Izetbegovic.

“We are very pleased with the fact that BiH is the organizer and host of such a great scientific conference this year. This is very important event for all doctors and healthcare professionals that are dealing with medicine. This congress represents a combination of diagnostics and clinics, i.e. diagnostic methods in nuclear medicine applied in the clinical practice. Thanks to the continuous training of professionals from UCC in this field, including nuclear medicine, there is the opportunity for professional training and exchange of experience and knowledge with our colleagues from all over the world. The latest achievements in the field of nuclear medicine will be presented by eminent experts in this field as well,” concluded Prof. Dr. Begic.
