Ballet ‘Romeo and Juliette’ at National Theatre Sarajevo

On 12 March, at 7.30 p.m. audience of Sarajevo will have the opportunity to see a ballet ‘Romeo and Juliette’ which will be held in National Theatre of Sarajevo.

The choreographer of the ballet is Ronald Savković, and the ballet is situated in present time.

The first act happens in film studio, where everything is ready for the shooting of Romeo and Juliette. Actors prepare and rehearse and the shooting of the scene starts with Romeo, Mercutio, Benvolio, and producers bring Tybalt to shoot the scene of fighting with Mercutio.

Juliette is getting ready in the hotel room, and while rehearsing with Romeo, they fell in love.

The next day, during the shooting, a murder happens; Tybalt kills Mercutio, but the team continues shooting until the police ends the entire production.

Tickets can be bought at the box office of the National Theatre of Sarajevo from 9-11.30 a.m. and from 3.30 to 7.30 p.m.
