The international conference BAM Conference is organized by the association of information professionals, librarians, archivists and museum experts and will be held in Sarajevo and Mostar.
This year’s BAM conference on the topic ”Proactive educational institution – a place of lifetime learning in the digital age ” will be held tomorrow in Sarajevo and on Saturday in Mostar.
The aim of this year’s conference is to continuously encourage cooperation between the cultural heritage institutions, libraries, archives and museums in order to achieve a common mission, the protection and promotion of a cultural and scientific heritage. Through the BAM conference organizers want to attract to public attention that the libraries, archives and museums are educational centers of lifetime learning both for users and for the employees.
At this year’s BAM conference more than 100 participants from B&H, Croatia, Slovenia and Serbia are registered. The Program Committee accepted 13 presentations, four poster presentations and one workshop.
