Banja Luka Airport introduces a new Airline

From June 30th to August 28th, the Aegean company will start flights on the Banja Luka – Athens route. Flights will be operated once a week on Fridays with the Airbus A320.

Through Athens, Aegean will have a large number of connections to a number of Greek and other airports, especially to Cyprus, the Middle East, and Africa.

The Belgrade agency Filiptravel has announced flights from Banja Luka to Monastir from June 21st to September 6th once a week, every Wednesday with Nouvelair.

Flights should be operated with A320. Likewise, Filiptravel has announced flights from Banja Luka to Antalya with Tailwind, every Wednesday from June 7th to September 21st. Flights should be operated with Boeing 737-400.

Although Filiptravel has confirmed these lines, they have not yet been confirmed at the Banja Luka Airport, and the airport has not yet received any information about them, nor have the airlines or Filiptravel requested any services from the airport, they have not even had preliminary contact. Therefore, these two lines are only plans and it remains to be seen whether they will come true.

For now, the airport has confirmed Freebird charters to Antalya (from June 3rd on Tuesdays and Saturdays with A320), and regular Air Cairo leisure lines to Hurghada (from April 28th on Fridays, from June 7th on Tuesdays and Fridays with Embraer E190) and Air Montenegro to Tivat (on Mondays and Fridays from June 9th with E195).

The airport still has 7 Ryanair lines, 5 Wizz Air lines, and 1 Air Serbia line this summer. It will be a good summer for Banja Luka, Biznis Info reports.
