Banjaluka Airport will boast new seasonal summer charter flights to several destinations this summer.

From May 31st, Tunisia’s Nouvelair will operate leisure flights from Monastir, on the country’s Mediterranean coast, to Banja Luka.

From June 7th, Turkish Tailwind Airlines will start regular summer charters from Antalya, while from July 1st, Aegean Airlines will introduce charter flights from Athens to the second largest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).

The operator of the Banja Luka airport has a new General Manager. Natalija Trivic is a former journalist and was the Minister of Education and Culture in the Government of the Republika Srpska (RS) entity from 2018 to 2022.

“Together with my colleagues, I will continue to increase traffic and the number of passengers, as well as improve business at all levels,” said Trivic.

Banja Luka Airport transported 93.430 passengers in the first quarter of this year, Biznis Info reports.
