The Banja Luka Ethno Days event, which will be held from July 2nd to 4th, will gather about 400 participants from the Republika Srpska, the Federation of BiH, Serbia and Hungary, the Banja Luka Tourist Organization announced.
Banja Luka Ethno Days represent the cooperation between the Kozara Ethno Festival and the Festival of Serbian Folklore, which are traditionally held in the first half of July.
The Banja Luka Tourist Organization is organizing this event together with the Cultural and Artistic Association Piskavica and the Ensemble of Folk Dances and Songs Veselin Maslesa.
The organizers agree to gather all events that bear the stamp "traditional", ie "guardians of customs and original melody", under one umbrella organization, but at the same time retain festival autonomy, which will be even more interesting, the city's Tourist Organization said.
The statement adds that the goal of this type of cooperation is to present through Banja Luka ethno days all those who inherit tradition and preserve the customs of their regions.
The event will be held at two locations - in the city center and the local community of Donja Piskavica.
