banja lukaAt the site of the old motel “International” in Banja Luka will be constructed exclusive hotel complex, which will be equipped in accordance to the highest international standards, including facilities, swimming pools, wellness center and a conference room. The owner will be the company Ciambella that is planning to invest nearly 10 million BAM in the construction.

CEO of Ciambella export-import company, Maja Vuckovic, said that it is a project that requires a lot of effort, and financial resources. According to her, five-star hotel will have a wellness center and spa, swimming pools and all other facilities.

“We would like to keep the ‘note’ of the current appearance of the hotel, but nothing has been decided yet. We are now negotiating with the experts in the field of hospitality, who could be potential partners in the project, whether in a franchise or contracted work. We hope to start with works in the first half of next year, and after the purchase of the hotel, we will conduct all necessary geological tests,” said Vuckovic.

Moreover, the company Ciambella from Banja Luka purchased the old motel “Internacional” from the Banja Luka-based International Motel, and the value of transactions was 1.1 million EUR.

Currently, the motel is quite old and rusty, but, according to Vuckovic, greenery that surrounds the current facility will perfectly fit in the project.

“Luxury hotel is what we need in the region, and I hope that everyone will enjoy its benefits. This will raise the tourist offer at a higher level because tourism in Banja Luka is a significant industry,” added Vuckovic.

The existing building was built in 1972 and covers an area of over 2,000 square meters.
