The mayor of Banja Luka, Draško Stanivuković, hosted iftar in this city on Sunday evening.

He said that organizing a joint iftar is a great honor for him.

“I am the first mayor of Banja Luka to host our fellow citizens of the Islamic religion in the holy month of Ramadan,” Stanivuković said.

He adds that it is not only about the act of hospitality, but also about sending a clear message that there is room for everyone in Banja Luka.

He added that Banja Luka is a place where everyone can feel comfortable and happy.

“Banja Luka is a meeting place, a place of good people of different religions and cultures,” concluded Stanivuković, Klix.ba reports.
