mostarWorks on the construction of the grandiose shopping mall City Mall in the Center of Banja Luka are in progress. The mall will be situated in the Vase Pelagića Street, between the House of Unions of RS, the Hotel Talija, and the building of the Indirect Taxation Authority of BiH.

“All administrative preconditions for the beginning of works have been completed during May, so we immediately started with the implementation of the project,” stated Danijela Risojević, director of the City Mall, and added that this city mall will be the first and the largest mall in the Banja Luka region with full amenities intended for the entire family.

City Mall will cover 54.600 square meters, with 20.000 square meters of retail space distributed in four levels.

“On the first two levels there will be retail space with international and domestic brands. Retail and entertainment amenities will be on the third and fourth floor, together with cinema halls and hospitality facilities,” stated the director of City Mall.

City Mall will also have three levels of underground garages. Banja Luka will finally get a contemporary shopping mall like all other cities in the region and the world have. Given the central location, City Mall will become a new meeting point, a place to shop and have fun, and a center of cultural, tourist and social development.

“City Mall project has great significance for Banja Luka because implementation of one such comprehensive project will enable the increase in the number of workplaces, expansion of businesses of numerous domestic brands and business partners, and a significant influx of money into the city budget,” the director explained.

Expected date of completion of the works is the end of 2018.
