The football team of Bosnia and Herzegovina left Toronto after winning a point against Canada and traveled to the United States of America, where they will continue preparations for the next matches at the 2026 World Cup.
Sergej Barbarez’s chosen ones arrived at the airport in Toronto with a special VIP treatment. The BiH representatives were transported by bus directly to the airstrip, and baggage control was performed immediately before boarding the plane.
“Dragons” will spend the next few days in Salt Lake City, where they will make final preparations for the duel with Switzerland. BH team will do a total of three training sessions at the RSL training center, followed by a trip to Los Angeles.
It is interesting that the coaching staff decided that the national team will not train in Los Angeles, the host city of the next match against Switzerland. Such a move is seen by many as an additional precaution in order to preserve tactical ideas and avoid the possibility that opponents can more easily obtain information about the work of the national team.
Until now, coach Sergej Barbarez has opened all training sessions of the national team to the media during the first 15 minutes, but by deciding to move the preparations to Salt Lake City, he additionally protected the team before one of the most important matches of the group stage.
The national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina will arrive in Los Angeles on Wednesday, where an official press conference will be held on the same day before the match with Switzerland.
The duel of the second round of Group B between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Switzerland will be played on June 18 in Los Angeles at 21:00 Bosnia and Herzegovina time.
