The first match of the League of Nations is scheduled for September 25, when we visit Poland in Warsaw. Three days later, another away match against Romania follows in Bucharest.
“We are looking forward to new challenges and enter the League of Nations with new energy and optimism. We hope that the historic appearance at the World Cup brought us valuable experience and that we are back on the world football map. However, now we have an even more difficult part of the job ahead of us, which is to confirm that level. When compiling the list, we faced certain difficulties. Some players are injured, some have not yet had enough minutes, while some have just changed clubs. However, we will do everything to justify the expectations of the public with this staff, as well as those that we have set before ourselves,” said Barbarez.
Barbarez will hold a press conference, on the occasion of the gathering of the national team, on September 21 at 11 a.m. in the premises of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo.
