Stoke goalkeeper Begović is on the list of names Barca are considering to replace Victor Valdes and has been watched by Nou Camp scouts, reports Mirror.
Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool have all been trailing Begović, who will leave the Potteries at the end of the season.
But David de Gea’s good form means United, like Chelsea and City, would not be able to offer 25-year-old Begović guaranteed first-team football.
Arsenal believe they are well placed to convince Begović to move to the Emirates as No.1, although Stoke’s £15million asking price could prove to be a stumbling block.

Barcelona have scouted both De Gea and Liverpool’s Pepe Reina, but have also been alerted to the fact Begovic has been the Premier League’s best goalkeeper this term.
Begović has made 20 international appearances for BiH.
