sevdi_mustafa_bandSarajevo – Within the event “Baščaršija nights”,  a concert by Mustafa Šantić and Sevdi Mustafa band will be held tomorrow, 30th July at the Bosnian cultural center in Sarajevo.

Mustafa Šantić, a clarinetist and accordion virtuoso from Mostar was very popular for a longtime as one of the founders of the “Mostar Sevdah Reunion” band. He continues his solo career now in a band he founded called “Sevdi Mustafa band”.

“Although they still haven’t released any album, they really enjoy the sympathy of the public. The initiative to found the band came in 2008 from Mustafa Šantić and his fellow musicians wishing to bring back in sound some ancient times when popular music had importance. Sevdi Mustafa band is coming back to an authentic sort of sound which fascinates their listeners and determines in a way their journey on the music scene.”- is stated.

Sevdi Mustafa band is planning to record soon their first CD where we will find something from everywhere in ex-Yu area, based on the traditional music.

The concert will be held at 21:30 o’clock at the BKC. The entrance is free.
