After his last month successful performance at the ATP Challenger Tournament in Yokohama and placement in the finals, Bosnian tennis player Mirza Bašić has been very successful at the start of another tournament in Japan. At the 35.000 dollars worth Challenger in Toyota, Bašić had won in the first round against the local player Takao Suzuki with the results 5:7, 6:3, 7:6 (8). In the second round of the tournament the 21 year old Bašić from Sarajevo will play against the Japanese contestant Toshida Matsui.
Thanks to his success in Yokohama, our tennis player Bašić has recorded a career best ranking on the 277th place, achieving progress for another 69 places.
