Bazdarevic prior to the Match: We will not calculate, we go for Victory!

Bazdarevic Before Cyprus-B&H nap.baThe national team of B&H will not calculate during today’s match against Cyprus, and it will strive to achieve victory which would enable the qualification for the barrage, stated the coach of the BH football national team Mehmed Bazdarevic last night at the press conference in Nicosia.

After winning against Wales, the football players of B&H found themselves in a situation where they are deciding on their own fate, and a victory would mean a certain placement to the barrage. However, a draw would be enough to the player chosen by Bazdarevic, in case Israel looses against Belgium at the guest match.

Nevertheless, the coach does not want to calculate at all and announces a decisive game for victory. Bazdarevic is convinced that a tough match is expecting his players against a team that can also qualify for the barrage if they celebrate victory today.

“It will be very difficult tomorrow. We will not calculate – we came to outperform. We will not play for a point, we will do anything to go to the barrage”, Bazdarevic said.

When it comes to the performance of Edin Dzeko, the coach of the BH team said that the decision is to be reached after last night’s training. However, he noted that there are big chances that the best striker of the BH national team plays in today’s match.

Goalkeeper of the BH national team Asmir Begovic stated that the team is ready for the match.

“The atmosphere is excellent after victory on Saturday. A very difficult, but certainly a good match, is ahead of us. I am looking forward to the atmosphere, and I am hoping for a victory”, Begovic said.

The match Cyprus – B&H is to be played today at the GSP stadium starting from 8:45 p.m. The referee at the match will be English Anthony Taylor.
