[wzslider autoplay=”true”]Sarah Čerkez (27) from Sarajevo opted for modeling as her vocation and she has been living and working in Milano for years now. So far, she had an opportunity to cooperate with numerous great names of the fashion scene – in Italy she worked for brands Armani, Dolce Gabbana, LaPerla, Brunello Cucunelli and many others, and in Paris she worked for Edrem, Karl Lagerfeld, McQueen, etc.
Sarah was born in Sarajevo, where she finished elementary and musical school, department for ballet and piano, after which she enrolled in the First Gymnasium.
As a little girl she often went to the fashion agency NovamaS, working on some advertisements and revues with Mirjana Deak and Alma Musliović.
Already at the age of 18 she started traveling and modeling, primarily to Paris and Milano. Since the age of 21 that has been shat she is doing for living, and now she lives and works in Milano.
Due to the nature of her work, Sarah had an opportunity to travel a lot. She traveled across the entire Italy, she lived in Paris, traveled to Barcelona, Madrid, Lyon, Monton, Cannes, Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Vienna, Prague, Istanbul, New York, Miami, Los Angeles…
Of all her previous engagements and project, as the most exciting she highlights the visit to Africa and the shooting for Maxim calendar of 2011 on Madagascar, as well as shorter visits to remote parts of Italy such as Tuscany or some abandoned castles.
The model vocation brings numerous renunciations and sacrifices, as well as everyday care of your body through nutrition and physical activity.
“I have been taking care of everything for the past year. I do not drink, I do not smoke, I sleep regularly, I do not eat meat (because it is industrial in Milano), I do not use sugar or salt, I drink a lot of water and tea, I eat fruits and vegetables, some fish for proteins and occasionally integral carbohydrates, such as pasta or rice. I train a lot, I run, swim, do yoga, boxing, etc. My biggest vice is chocolate and I hardly renounce it,” Sarah said.
