Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Bećirović stated that “the public recognition of Milorad Dodik that he is working on the implementation of the Great Serbian project should not be ignored”, commenting on the latest scandalous anti-Dayton statements by the RS president Milorad Dodik in Donja Gradina that “the RS and Serbia will be one country”.
“In today’s speech, Dodik publicly acknowledged and announced the key anti-Dayton Agreement project’s tasks that many in the international community and within Bosnia and Herzegovina had underestimated for years: that the criminal project of greater Serbia, which in the 1990s led to aggression against neighboring countries and the genocide against Bosniaks, is not dead; that there is a planned large-state plan that is being implemented with the aim of “declaring the RS a state and uniting it with Serbia”, and that the president of the BiH entity RS Milorad Dodik is publicly working to destroy the full member of the United Nations – the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and to destroy the peace process,” said Bećirović.
He emphasized that Dodik’s public admission today that the reincarnation of the criminal Great Serbian project is on the scene again inevitably calls for public answers to several questions.
“Why Serbia’s President, Aleksandar Vučić, who also spoke at the event in Donja Gradina, “did not publicly distance himself from the criminal project directed against the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina? Why does Dodik intensify the demolition of the fundamental principles of international and national law after each arrival from Belgrade? Why are the key states of the European Union not acting promptly and concretely? Why does the EU not join the policy of the United States of America and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in sanctioning the policy of endangering peace and stability in Southeast Europe?” he asked.
Bećirović publicly called on all political actors in Bosnia and Herzegovina to stop ignoring threats to destroy the peace process and the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
