The member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, will be on a working visit to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland from today until July 5.
In London, Bećirović will meet with high-ranking political officials of the United Kingdom, a witness country of the Dayton Peace Agreement, with whom, as announced by his cabinet, he will discuss the threat to peace and security in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as strengthening BiH’s cooperation with the United Kingdom.
Among other things, meetings are planned with the UK Special Representative for the Western Balkans, Lord Stuart Peach, the UK Foreign Minister, James Cleverley, the UK Minister of the Armed Forces, James Hippie, the member of the House of Lords of Great Britain, Baroness Arminka Helic, a group of members of the Parliament of the United Kingdom, including the Chair of the Electoral Commission for foreign affairs to Alicia Cairns, other UK officials, and representatives of the Bosnian diaspora.
During his working visit to the United Kingdom, the member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, will also give a speech on the occasion of commemorating the Day of Remembrance of the genocide committed against Bosniaks in Srebrenica at Lancaster House in London.
