After the High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Christian Schmidt, repealed the Law on non-publication of decisions of the High Representative in the Official Gazette of the Republika Srpska, and the Law on the non-application of decisions of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the territory of the Republika Srpska, which were adopted by the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, the President of the Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik announced his address to the public.

Also, yesterday, Schmidt made a decision on changes to the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will treat acts that violate the constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a criminal offense.

On this occasion, as announced by the Cabinet of the President of the Republika Srpska, Dodik will address the public at 1:00 p.m. at Kozara, after marking the 81st anniversary of the Battle of Kozara.

Dodik announced on social networks that Republika Srpska will respect the Dayton Agreement, as he stated, as much as it is respected by others.

“Our dream is a free Republika Srpska, not delusions in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We are in Bosnia and Herzegovina because we have to and because the international peace treaty said so. I do not advocate conflicts and there will not be any,” wrote Dodik on “Instagram”.

Dodik stated that “the Republika Srpska has international friends, more than ever before, but also the same enemies it had until now”.

He stated that at the meeting with the leaders of the parties that make up the government at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina last week, he discussed many current issues, and one of them was the issue of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“The position of the Republika Srpska is clear and we believe that the process of passing a law on the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina should be entered into,” said Dodik.
