Bee Fest: the Prize “Med medova” Assigned to Avdo Duranović

bee fest 2014Within this year’s 12th International Apiculture Fair “Bee Fest 2014” the assignment of the awards and recognitions has been held. The decision was reached unanimously that the title “Med medova” should go to the “Kadulja” honey produced by the apiarist Avdo Duranović.

The bronze medal went to Asmir Duraković from Gradačac in the category of the honey “Livada” while the silver medal went to “Pčelica Medina” from Zenica. The golden medals were assigned to Avdo Duranović from Konjic and Salko Repeša from Gradačac.

The bronze medal in the category of the honey “Planinarska livada” went to Asmir Duraković from Gradačac too, while the golden one went to “Pčelarstvo Balić” from Travnik.

In the category “Šumski med” the bronze medal went to “Pčelarstvo Pantić” from Olovo, the silver medal to “Pčelica Medina” from Zenica and the golden medal to Abdurahman Trešnjo from Konjic.

The silver medal in the category “Vrijesak” went o “Pčelica Medina”, while the golden medals were assigned to “Pčelarstvo Mulabdić” from Žepče and Avdo Duranović from Konjic.

The medals were assigned for the category “Kadulja” as well. The silver one went to “Herzeg med” from Trebinje and Nedeljko Pazin from Trebinje while Avdo Duranović from Konjic received the golden medal.

The golden medal in the category “Lipa” went to Salko Repeša from Gradačac.

The jury noticed this year that the micro-locations were successful in quantity of the honey and that the beekeepers at those location did a great work.

The president of the jury of the 12th International Apiculture fair “Bee fest 2014” was Bedrija Alić who evaluated the honey along with Rankica Bahtijarević and Lejla Spiljak.

At the “Bee Fest 2014” which will close today at the Trg Oslobođenja – Alija Izetbegović, more than 50 exhibitors offered their products.
