Begovic: War Traumas affected my Personality

Asmir Begovic told English journalists his life story at least a hundred times, but it is always interesting again, so he repeated it yesterday in an exclusive conversation with The Guardian. He started from his first arrival in the country after persecution of the beginning of the aggression in BiH. The reason for his arrival was the death of his grandfather.

“I saw a ruin where we lived during the war. These are difficult things for us and something that has affected my personality today,” he said.

He also referred to his era in Chelsea, which, unlike others, is not considered unsuccessful.

“There were good and bad moments there, as in every club. I have positive experiences with Chelsea, I went to compete and try to fight for my place. I enjoyed it, but I went because I wanted to be a goalkeeper in the best years of my career,” he said.
