Representative of BiH Belmir Berberović won the gold medal at the European Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships in Santa Sussan in Spain.
During the two-day competition, member of “Terzo Gym Tim” won the title of European champion in the category of athletic fitness.
He performed strength exercises on the shaft and parallel bars, and then went on to the final rotation. After checking endurance on the treadmill and rowing machine, the BiH contestant achieved best results in the final.
“It would be too modest for me to say that I did not expect first place. My trainers, Mirsad and Sanele Teroz and I set a goal and did our best to achieve it. My success is the success of the entire team of people who are behind me, my mother above all, Terzo team, Taekwondo club Novi Grad Sarajevo, Body Building and Fitness Association of FBiH, Sunlight Longue Solarija and many friends and enthusiasts who have helped’’, said Berberović.
He was the only BiH representative at the competition that had more than 400 participants from 40 countries.
