”Bema” Will Employ 40 People

mrkonjic_grad_2_2Municipality Mrkonjić Grad and the footwear factory “Bema” signed on 14 June a contract on grants for hiring 40 new people.

The Mayor of the municipality Divna Aničić and the Director of the factory Marinko Umićević signed the contract.

Aničić said that “Bema” this year will receive 50.000 KM from the municipality for new employees, and that the rest will be paid next year.

“I thank them, because in these difficult times they are expanding production and employing new people’’, said Aničić and added that municipality Mrkonjić Grad regularly allocated funds for the co-financing of activities of small and medium businesses.

Umićević said that in the factory they plan to expand production and employ 40 new people, and that every employee will receive 2.500 KM from the municipality.

He said that Mrkonjić Grad has good cooperation with the municipal government.

“In Mrkonjić Grad we are constantly employing people and in a month we will receive 40 new employees. There is work, and our next goal is to work on the shoes so that we could place it on foreign markets’’, said Umićević.
