The Ministry of Transport of Canton Sarajevo (CS) started an initiative for citizens who are registered at the Employment Service of CS to have the right on monthly coupons for public transportation at a price of 12 BAM.
This ministry stated that they are preparing the Proposal of regulation on the prices of monthly tickets for the unemployed citizens in public transportation in CS.
This regulation will define the way of use and the rights of users of this benefit, as well as the penalties in case of misuse of these tickets.
The holder of preparations for the Proposal of this regulation is the Ministry of Transport of CS, and on the proposal of this Ministry, the decree will be adopted by the Government of CS.
KJKP Gras Sarajevo is carrying out around 94 % of public transport of passengers, and this company was introduced with the initiative and has a positive attitude towards it.
“After obtaining the opinion of the Legislative Office, Ministry of Justice and the administration of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury, the holder of preparations will prepare the final text of the Proposal on the regulation and submit it to the Government of CS for approval,” as announced from the Ministry of Transportation of CS.
