As a result of the 11th session of the European Cultural Parliament, which was held on the 16th and 17th December, the Berlin Declaration was adopted.

With this declaration, the European Cultural Parliament emphasized multiple cultural values that need to be further emphasized during the next year. The Berlin Declaration stands for the cultural and humanistic perspective that holds together Europe and plays a vital role in the European project.

Furthermore, the Declaration highlights the ideas that culture can be viewed also as a possibility of overcoming the current crisis in the networks of so many creative people. It also stands for the fight against the growing nationalism and its destructive motives as well as the division between all European nations and people.

The member of the European Cultural Parliament, our famous director Dino Mustafić supported the adoption of this declaration, which also shows the level of understanding and determination of artists and cultural workers around the world.

” The Berlin Declaration recognizes culture as a criteria according to which we should measure all other things and which calls upon creative solutions that only culture, art and creative industry can offer ”- said Dino Mustafić
