Besima BoricThe Sarajevo Open Center, Association for Culture and Art CRVENA, Organization of Rights for All, Helsinki Parliament of Citizens of Banja Luka, Center for for Empirical Study of Religion in B&H, TPO Foundation Sarajevo and the Women’s Forum of Bratunac, submitted the nomination of Besima Borić for the Anne Klein Award, which is awarded every year by the Heinrich Böll Foundation.

The award was established in honor of Anne Klein, dedicated lawyer and politicians who was openly a lesbian and pioneer in the fight for women’s rights. The award is given to women who gave a significant contribution in making gender democracy a reality and in the fight against discrimination on gender basis or sexual orientation.
