denis_zvizdic_jens_stoltenbergThe Chairman of the Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdić said that BH authorities had a constructive meeting with the Secretary General of NATO Jens Stoltenberg.

“We presented the so far realized activities regarding the integration. Of course, we have clearly emphasized our commitment, particularly towards the European integration, and support to NATO integration,” said Zvizdić.

Mr. Stoltenberg pointed out that our country has managed to make significant progress in certain areas, especially after the adoption of the Defense Review, Defense Review Implementation Plan and the Plan of modernization of the Armed Forces.

“We started with another Talin condition which is not fully implemented and that is entry of perspective military property. In that area, we have shown credible progress by entering 24 locations, and having 18 in the process of registration” said Zvizdić.

He added that the entry of military assets is mostly political issue and a question of respect for the rule of law and court rulings.

“It is clear that the membership to NATO represents something very important for BiH, because it means peace, stability, economic development, new investment and good cooperation at the global level. I hope that we will end this year with two good news, the candidate status and activation of MAP, “concluded Zvizdić.
