Basketball team of B&H traveled yesterday to Athens (Greece), where they will play the second preparatory tournament in the qualification for the European Championship, which begins in Slovenia by early September.
The best basketball players of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the tournament will play a control match against the selection of Greece, Italy and Lithuania.
The team of B&H with the coach Aleksandar Petrović, their first game will play it tonight at 21 pm against Greece. They won against Greece last week at the tournament in Germany in Ulm.
The match against Italy is scheduled for tomorrow at 18:30 am, while at the same time on Thursday they will play against Lithuania.
At the last week’s tournament in Ulm B&H had two wins (Germany and Greece) and one defeat (Macedonia).
At the Euro-basket in Slovenia National Team of B&H plays in B-group with teams of Lithuania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Latvia.
Bosnia and Herzegovina at the first match on 4th September will play against Latvia, at the Hall ”Podmežakla” in Jesenice.
