BH Beauties leave Tourists Breathless

BH beauties JajceBosnia and Herzegovina became a very attractive tourist destination for citizens of the entire world.

This is evidenced by the increase in the number of foreign tourists in BiH from year to year, but also recommendations from foreign media and tourist portals for top tourist destinations in 2015, including natural beauty, attractions and cities of BiH.

Asja Hadzefendic-Mesic, the spokeswoman of the Tourist association of BiH, emphasized that in the first two months of this year, 94.618 tourists visited BiH, which is by 24.7% higher compared to the same period last year. In that period, 207.898 overnight stays were realized, which is by 32.2% more compared to the same period last year.

During the winter period, in the transition from 2014 to 2015, mountains Vlasic and Jahorina were visited the most. In the last two months, the most tourists came from Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Turkey, Italy, Montenegro, Germany, Austria, South Korea and the USA.

According to data of the Tourist association of BiH, the most attractive locations for tourists are also national parks “Sutjeska“, “Kozara“, “Una“, beautiful waterfalls Kravice near Ljubuski, and waterfalls in Jajce, as well as numerous mountains in BiH, to which tourists from the Croatian coast are coming in summer to make a break from the sea.

Rivers Vrbas, Drina and Una are specially visited because of the adventure tourism, rafting on the wild waters, that specially attract young tourists. From lakes, the most attractive ones are Boracko lake near Konjic and Trnovacko lake on Maglic.
