B&H Cadets Won UEFA Development Tournament

cadet representationCadet representation of B&H is the winner of UEFA development tournament for football players, up to 16 years old.

Football players of Sakib Malkočević in the last, third round of tournament won against Azerbaijan yesterday in Vogošća with the result 5:0 (3:0). Zinedin Mustedanagić in 27 minute, Amar Suljić in 31., Ermedin Demirović in 40., Ajdin Mujagić in 51. and Denis Žerić in 77. minute were the goal scorers.

“This tournament was a good one to get us prepared for qualifications in which we aim to get through to the second round. We had good opponents and I am satisfied with the first place. However there are some things which we have to prepare until the start of qualifications”, said the coach Malkočević.

Scotland defeated Montenegro with 1:0 at the second match that was played in Hrasnica. Tom McIntyre was the goal scorer in 47 minute.

B&H ended this tournament by winning the first place with 8 points, followed by Scotland with 7 and Azerbaijan with 3 and Montenegro without any point.

The UEFA representative Jean-Michel Benezet awarded the Cup to the winners of the tournament.
