The young designer Belma Tvico-Stambol is the first designer from BiH who is invited to present her high-fashion collections at the Paris Fashion Week that will take place in September.
She will present herself with two collections, a collection of high fashion ‘semi couture’ fall/winter 2017/18, which she already sent to Paris, and a “ready-to-wear” collection spring/summer 2018.
Speaking about this extraordinary opportunity, Tvico-Stambol said that she was noticed by fashion scouts, so she received an invitation. Then, she justified that call with her work and proposed collections. She succeeded. The proposed collections were accepted and she is now preparing for this great event.
She finds the inspiration in other visual arts and other cultures, for example, the collection for this summer called ‘cherry blossom’ was inspired by Japanese culture. The collection that she sent to Paris symbolizes the timelessness … And there is also the universe and other inspirations for this fashion artist.
She added that her creations have an eternal sensibility and an old Hollywood spirit.
After exploring the elements of the earth, she moved to fire that contributed to some retro glamor. Contemporary models from the collection were carefully created, and they include many details, in order to express the elegance and character of the person who wears them. The beauty of a woman is reflected in her soul, which goes beyond eternity.
Belma Tvico-Stambol was born on March 1, 1985, in Sarajevo. She presented her first collection “Lady with Camellias”, which consisted of four dresses, at the Sarajevo Fashion Week in 2003.
She created numerous fashion collections and presented them to the world public.
